We went to Barcelona this weekend for three nights. Rose and I both thought it a wonderful city. We stayed at a hotel called Torre Catalunya which was right next to the main railway station which took us from the airport to the hotel. The different architectural splendours around the city amazed me. Antonio Gaudi produced two incredible buildings - La Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera - which I guess precipitated more architectural wonders since then.
