I just loved this bit of information I discovered in the newspaper. Unfortunately it was in the Daily Mail which might not be quite so reliable. I read it because it is easy to read and I like to get through the whole paper sometimes. I usually read The Times but I often do not finish it.
The article was about Clegg's plan to get the public to tell him which laws to repeal. Apparently the government website crashed soon after the Deputy Prime Minister made the announcement. Large amounts of suggestions (many outlandish) were posted.
The best of them, I thought was desire for the ban on marrying horses to be lifted. The writer said: 'I have been going out with a horse for seven - very happy - years now. Why oh why can we not marry - or at least civilly partner like the gays can?' The mind boggles.
