BROOKLANDS MUSEUM

Shaun and I went to visit Brooklands Museum and Rose shopped at the big Marks and Spencers nearby. I have driven past the sign to the museum many times and it is reasonably close to home. It is a very important place in terms of British motor vehicle and aviation history. The original owner built an amazing race track there in 1906. Aeroplanes were built there including the Concord and warplanes. The dambusters bomb was developed at Brooklands. The land speed record cars such as the Bluebirds were built there.
