WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING
I know it has been a long time since my last blog. The trips to NZ sort of foreshadowed anything that has happened since. We have stayed in London at Covent Garden once again. Rose and I are both busy with our respective workplaces. That is the problem we have. We came here to travel but we need money to travel and we need to work to get money.
The biggest/best thing we have done since NZ is a trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. What a fabulous place. It is often difficult to come up with different or suitable superlatives for places and occasions like these. The town is very pretty. The Avon flows through and provides a wonderful river cruise which we made the most of. The weather was glorious. I must say we have been pretty fortunate with the pleasant weather we have experienced when we have travelled. The houses were amazing with the usual array of 16th and 17th century buildings you can find in the best towns and villages. On top of that was the Shakespeare history thrown into the mix! Anne Hathaway's family home was the best of the lot. I have to provide a picture.
